To all of those people who attended the meeting at the Cliffs Pavilion on the 7th September, I would like to thank each and every one of you for your support along with Stephen Gilchrist, what a wonderful caring solicitor, it’s like our luck has changed to have such a well known lawyer on our side and so much knowledge. He is not just helping us for any financial gain; it’s because he is a caring person and wants to see justice done.

Jon Austin from the Echo News Paper for me really is also the tops; he has relentlessly worked for months on investigating the lies and deceit of Leslie Lesser.
Of all my years of campaigning I have always found, if there was no Jon Austin’s in the media then people such as the communities have very little chance of justice.

I now feel that as we have come together also with the support of Jon and Stephen and James, we can go forward and bring back peace into our community.

For all of you who lost so much 15 years ago, I am sorry and do know how you must all feel, for me the worst is that he has cheated from his own people and has used his personal friends.

Back in the 70s I worked as a voluntary person with in the prison system, I have lectured in prisons and met many criminals from all walks of life, but personally I believe Leslie Lesser has to be one of the greatest criminals, in the fact that he can leave people penniless, suicidal, homeless and much more. Oly those people who have lost so much can understand what they are going through.

Lesser has mostly targeted the old and vulnerable. This is so sad. For many, they are scared or embarrassed to tell their families and many go into a deep depression. And to think that people have worked for all of their lives and want to leave an inheritance for the family, then people such as Leslie Lesser have taken it all.

Leslie Lesser is 75 years of age and what I say to him is this, you are very close to meeting the one person you cannot deceive and lie to, and with the missing millions you should try to make it all ok and give it back before you meet your match, if you don’t, then it is up to god to forgive you, and believe me, if I have anything to do with it you will rot in heaven.

Lastly, my thanks go to Julie Shadbolt of the Southend Police Station, who has been left with a mountain of paperwork which will take her many months to filter through, and Mr Leonard Stanley who worked for many hours with patience to take my statement.
